Frequently asked questions
Are options and stocks separate subscriptions?
Yes. Options and stocks are managed as separate products. You can subscribe to either product independently, keep both under the same CuteMarkets account, and create product-specific API keys for each.
Which plans include live data?
Expert and Commercial include live data. Free and Developer are 15-minute delayed; Developer adds unlimited requests and a 7-year lookback.
Which plans include quotes?
Quotes are included on Expert and Commercial. Free and Developer include the other core REST endpoints, but not quote endpoints.
Can I still use the Free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is available for both products with no credit card required, 10 requests per minute, 5,000 requests per day, delayed data, and a 3-year lookback.
Can I use CuteMarkets data in a commercial application?
Yes, on the Commercial plan for the relevant product. Commercial has the same data access as Expert and adds allowance for external products, client delivery, resale, redistribution, and other customer-facing use cases.
What do professional and commercial mean here?
Professional means internal work inside your own company, desk, data team, research workflow, or production system. Expert is built for that internal professional usage. Commercial means the data powers an external product, client deliverable, resale workflow, redistribution path, or multi-customer application.
Does the dashboard manage both products?
Yes. The dashboard shows independent Options and Stocks subscription cards so each product can be upgraded, switched, or managed separately.
